Dr. Gayamali is a licenced Naturopathic Doctor and certified Doula who graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. During her undergraduate career, she received an Honours degree in Integrative Biology and Philosophy, which sparked her interest in scientific research and clinical trials, including evidence-based medicine. Her work as a Camp Counsellor for Autism Ontario Canada (AOK) gave her the opportunity to work closely with children from varying ages and degrees along the Autism Spectrum. This only further motivated her desire to pursue a career in the healthcare field, to provide care for individuals from all demographics.
Having received a Masters in Education, Dr. Gayamali is a strong believer that an integral role of a healthcare practitioner is to educate and transfer knowledge. Her goal as a Naturopathic Doctor is to promote disease prevention, while empowering individuals to take health into their own hands.
Her clinical interests include, but are not limited to women’s health and dermatology. She treats a wide range of chronic lifestyle conditions including:
- Cardiovascular disease
- Hormonal imbalances
- Mental/emotional disorders including anxiety and depression
Dr. Gayamali believes that good medicine involves inter-professional networking, with a team of practitioners working together harmoniously and synergistically to provide an individual with the outmost care. She is a strong supporter of evidence-based and preventative medicine. Dr. Gayamali is licenced through the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy-Naturopathy.
